Due to the TrackMan™ technology, teaching and practice has evolved to the next level. Simply looking at  the ball flight is no longer enough a straight shot can be generated in three different ways! Furthermore, TrackMan has proven through research that ball launch direction (horizontal launch angle) is approximately 85% determined by the face angle. Hence the old ball flight laws (That only clubpath determins launch direction) do no longer apply. Please review table below.

Consequently teaching players on any level should to some extent include a club delivery assessment. Looking at club delivery together with the resulting ball flight, players will be able to work on hitting the ball straighter or attain the desired curve (draw / fade). Even good players hitting the ball consistantly close to the target will in most cases experience that they don't impact the ball in the sweetspot of the club. Please read our Newsletters and Case Studies for further information.

Approach Practice

Approach Practice, where players hit approach shots towards a virtual green at any distance, helps benchmark performance and identify strengths and weaknesses in the approach game. The application is ideal for practicing distance and dispersion control.

Find Your Distance Application

Find Your Distance not only tells you the average distance and variation of each club in the bag, but also calculates the gaps between them. Knowing the average distance and variation of each club enables you to attack the course more strategically and with more confidence. Evaluating the gaps allow players to choose the most effective set make up for their style of play and course conditions.
